Your Impact 

You will contribute to the design, development, and ongoing evolution of the software components that enable our products to establish and manage reliable, high-performance, and secure communications. 

You will work primarily with our IP telephony server and its various protocols. Your role will combine software development, systems integration, and the resolution of complex technical issues. 

your responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software modules related to IP telephony. 
  • Contribute to the evolution of our communication platforms and solutions. 
  • Develop services, APIs, and integration tools for third-party systems. 
  • Work with SIP and RTP protocols. 
  • Diagnose issues related to calls, signalling, and audio quality. 
  • Analyze network traces to identify anomalies. 
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests. 
  • Collaborate with the software development, quality assurance, and technical support teams. 
  • Document solutions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development practices. 

Your Profile

  • You have a college diploma or university degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. 
  • You have approximately 3 to 5 years of software development experience. 
  • You have experience developing solutions using Asterisk and/or FreePBX. 
  • You have a strong understanding of SIP, AS-SIP, and RTP protocols. 
  • You have experience working in Unix/Linux environments. 
  • You are proficient in at least one of the following languages: PHP, Python, C/C++, JavaScript, or Shell scripting. 
  • You have strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. 
  • You are autonomous, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative. 
  • You are bilingual in French and English. 

A few valuable assets

  • Knowledge of VoIP security, including TLS, SRTP, and SIP authentication. 
  • Experience with CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes. 
  • Experience working in an Agile environment. 
  • Knowledge of unified communications.
