Your Role

We are hiring a Team Lead to guide our product development team from our Lévis or Sherbrooke office. You will provide both people leadership and technical direction while owning planning, coordination, and follow-through for software projects. You will work closely with the development team, operations, and internal stakeholders to turn business goals into resilient software in production.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

  • Coach, support, and motivate a team of software developers.
  • Distribute work, set priorities, and balance workloads.
  • Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and solid engineering practices.
  • Contribute to skill development and career growth across the team.

Project Management

  • Plan, organize, and track software projects end‑to‑end.
  • Define goals, deliverables, timelines, and priorities.
  • Keep commitments on schedule; anticipate risks and adjust plans.
  • Facilitate planning, reviews, and retrospectives with the team.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Serve as the point of contact between technical teams, the Product Owner, operations, and other internal partners.
  • Align business objectives with technical solutions through clear, ongoing communication.
  • Help write and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer across the team.

Quality and Continuous Improvement

  • Uphold quality standards for software deliverables
  • Promote continuous improvement of processes, tools, and development practices
  • Contribute to technology choices and software architecture

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5 or more years in software development and managing tech projects
  • Experience coordinating or supervising a team is a strong asset
  • Solid understanding of development, testing, and production environments
  • Familiar with Agile practices such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Comfortable with Git and modern collaboration tools
  • Bilingual (French/English)
