Our involvement
Actions speak louder than words
Getting active and involved with CAPP
Every minute of physical activity or community involvement carried out by our employees is transformed into a donation to Centraide Québec et Chaudière-Appalaches thanks to our Comité d'Action Physique et Philanthropique (CAPP). It's a tangible way to stay active, get involved, and give back, all at the same time.
Events that make
all the difference
Throughout the year, we organize and participate in charity events, such as the Canada Army Run and various initiatives of the Adaptive Sports Foundation, combining self-improvement with support for causes that matter.
An annual campaign
with Centraide
Every year, we rally support for Centraide, combining our individual efforts toward a collective initiative. In addition to our corporate donation pledge through CAPP, we encourage our employees to get involved—whether through organizing fundraising activities, volunteering their time to the community, or making monetary donations.
Time for a change
At BCC, community involvement is part of our company DNA. We encourage our team to get involved, even during working hours, to bring about meaningful change within themselves and the causes they're passionate about.
Supporting those that protect us
We participate in events, fundraisers, and initiatives that highlight the work of military personnel, first responders, and organizations that ensure the safety and protection of our community.

Collaborator
Canada Army Run
Every year, our staff participates in the Canada Army Run, an event that’s so much more than just a race. Together, we walk or run to support programs and services offered to military personnel, veterans, and their families. For us, this initiative has a twofold benefit: to give back to the military community and to honor those who have served, including some of our own colleagues. In addition to the physical effort, it is a moment of solidarity and recognition. Every step we take helps raise funds for a cause that is close to our heart.

Collaborator
Centraide
For several years, we have been participating in the annual Centraide Québec et Chaudière-Appalaches fundraising campaign, in partnership with the companies with which we share office space at our St-Romuald location: Glomero, BTEL, and Cell Expert. This collective effort reflects our desire to contribute to a more equitable and supportive society.

Collaborator
Adaptive Sports Foundation
Every year, Base Camp Connect gets partners with the Adaptive Sports Foundation, an organization that offers former military personnel and people living with physical limitations the opportunity to participate in adapted sporting activities.
Beyond sharing the joy of sport, this initiative helps break isolation, promote mental health, and strengthen social ties. For us, supporting this cause means recognizing the resilience of those who have served and offering them opportunities to excel in an inclusive and caring environment.
A few of our initiatives

A car wash for solidarity
Our team organized a car wash to benefit Centraide Quebec and Chaudière-Appalaches, raising $800 to support community organizations in the region.

Participation in Operation Red Nose
Every year, just before the holidays, our team participates in Operation Red Nose, a volunteer ride-sharing service that aims to prevent impaired driving. It's our way of contributing to road safety and supporting a cause that saves lives.

FilonSème Solidarity Garden
The Base Camp Connect team joined forces to support Le Filon in the construction of a community garden. Together, we prepared the ground to grow fresh vegetables that will directly feed local communities.

Community lunches - Le Filon
In collaboration with Centraide and Le Filon, our team participated in an activity to prepare bagged lunches to help stock community fridges in Lévis.

Discovering our community impact
Francis, a member of our team, had the opportunity to participate in an inspiring tour of Lévis, organized by Centraide Québec and Chaudière-Appalaches. It provided a concrete demonstration of the impact of donations on local organizations and a better understanding of the needs of our community.

Support for Le Grenier
The Base Camp Connect team has been involved with Le Grenier, an organization that helps unhoused individuals and those living in extreme poverty in the Lévis region. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting local causes and contributing to the well-being of our community.
